Simmons' Graduate School of Library and Information Science offers many online courses that are open to all. The course run the gamut from Instructional Design, to Javascript to Programming for Babies and Toddlers.

Netspeed 2007 - Oct 17-19, Calgary

To assist library staff and trustees in keeping pace with evolving technologies, The Alberta Library hosts an annual library technology conference called Netspeed. Netspeed is a conference for librarians, technical staff and trustees to explore new technologies in a highly connected world.

Netspeed 2007 will take place October 17-19, in Calgary.
